Envox Communications Server
Envox Communications Server is a highly scalable, reliable and fault tolerant VoiceXML gateway and run-time environment for deploying Envox-based voice solutions and VoiceXML applications.
Key features include:
- Scalability - The Envox Communications Server can support from 4 ports to 240 ports per server; multiple server configurations for larger installations (Recommended configurations; limitations could be higher or lower depending on application and server configurations).
- Fault-tolerant operation - Using the Envox Domain Server, administrators can automatically monitor the health of Envox Communications Servers and carry out failover or recovery procedures at the first sign of a problem.
- VoiceXML 2.1 Compatibility - VoiceXML gateway capabilities and an embedded VoiceXML browser for fetching and executing VoiceXML scripts.
- Call Control XML (CCXML) Compatibility - Envox Communications Server can execute scripts written in CCXML.
- Integrated Execution Environment - The application execution environment includes the script interpreter, voice, telephony and speech interfaces, resource management facilities, and system management interfaces.
- SNMP Agents and Alerts - Improves management by allowing administration of Envox-based solutions using the same tools as other IT systems including HP OpenView and Compaq InSight Manager.
